Currently: March

One of the things that makes our stories so sacred is that there are everyday, seemingly mundane moments that make up the bigger narrative. Each of these daily rhythms, reflections or tasks is pieced together with others and suddenly, we have our story.
Sometimes, the road to joy is through a brief, quiet moment of reflection on the present in the midst of the often large & loud life.
Ann & Carrie are hosting a link-up that allows for some fun reflection on the smaller bits of life, encouraging us to share what we are "currently" up to as the new month begins!

Watching

As much as I wish I had a new and exciting TV show to offer to you, the honest answer is Friends. For the 100th time. Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey & Ross are my pretend besties.
I could also add This Is Us along with the rest of America but I am only able to watch when I've set aside enough time for my puffy eyes to go down after ugly-crying through the whole episode.

Eating

Home-cooked meals! This has been a recent goal for Isaac and me. We have an awful habit of failing to plan our meals ahead of time and then ordering delivery or going out to eat instead. We've been working hard to get better at this and have seen a big improvement (and more money in our bank account!).

Saying

"Hey! How are ya? How's your week been?" what seems like a thousand times a day. This has become my script when a client walks into my office and I'm embarrassed every.single.time. I don't know why I can't think of something better or more reflective to say than that. Once in a while is fine but every time? It needs to stop.

Wearing

More like not wearing a jacket because the weather in PA has been incredible lately! Again, I know I join the masses in highlighting this but Isaac and I went to a bonfire at a friends house IN FEBRUARY and I only wore a hoodie. I had the windows open for a whole week. I just can't stop talking about it.

Posting

On here at least twice a week! I've recently begun moving from one post a week to two posts a week now that I'm starting to get the hang of blogging land. Two posts a week is a lot more work but it's been worth it! I have a few guest posts lined up for the months to come and I'm so excited to hear what you think. I love sharing my story but it's such an honor to share the stories of others. If you have a story to tell, please share it with me! I believe it can change the world.

What small moments are currently making up your story? How would you answer these fun prompts? Let me know in the comments below

  2. I love the way you put that about the little things making up our stories! I never thought about it so deeply, but it's true that part of what I love about doing these posts (and hosting a linkup to get to read others' posts as well) is taking a moment to reflect on the everyday, and also to have a record of it to look back on and remember what I was thinking about or enjoying throughout the year.

And yay for not-jacket weather. I feel lame talking about the weather all the time, but we can't be apologetic about enjoying these beautiful days, right?

  3. Not wearing a jacket this time of year in PA is probably something that never happens. Hopefully, your winter is long gone. Thanks for linking up with Currently!
